MDA Jeans Day
On Thursday, March 20th students are invited to participate in a special jeans day. Our 4-H Club will be raising money for the Muscular Dystrophy Association by selling shamrocks. For a $2.00 donation students will be able to wear their jeans and have their names on a green MD shamrock. If they donate $5.00 they can wear their jeans and receive a gold shamrock.

Aug. 6-7 (9:00 a.m. -2:00p.m.) Kindergarten screening Dates: Aug. 18-22 First day for Kindergarten Students: Aug. 25th Please Bring: - Photostatic copy of birth certificate
- Social Security Card (OR) copy of card
- Louisiana State Health Card (may be obtained from your personal physician's office, the Bossier Parish Health Unit on Old Minden Rd. or from the BAFB Immunization Clinic.)
- Proof of Residence: Ex: Your latest SWEPCO bill. If you are renting or leasing your home you must present a rental or lease agreement with ALL occupants' names listed and your latest SWEPCO bill
NOTE: OUT OF PARISH students should be able to provide previous school records or an address of school in order to request records. TRANSFERRING students within Bossier Parish should provide a school transfer sheet regarding placement. |

5th Grade Graduation will be on Wednesday, May 14th at 12:45 in the Stockwell Place gym. ALSO, the graduation party will be on Friday, May 16th at Hot Wheels Skating Palace on Old Minden Road in Bossier from 4:00-6:00p.m. |

Once again Stockwell Place PTO will be offering pre-packed school supplies for the 2008-09 school year. Teachers have complied a list of school needs for each grade. The cost of the packets will be $35.00 each. Your child's packet will be in his/her classroom on the first day of school in August. This is merely a conveninence for you, the parent. So if you want to save a little time and avoid the hassle of trying to locate supplies, take advantage of this opportunity and be "ahead of the game" for next year. |

Stockwell students learn next generation cyberspace concepts |

While the country was celebrating Earth Day, Stockwell Place Elementary School students were learning about the area beyond the Earth. Some third-, fourth- and fifth-graders from the Bossier school said they never knew about some of the latest cyberspace technology until they got a demonstration from staff at Bossier Parish Community College, the Bossier Marshall, Louisiana Tech and leaders of the Bossier Cyber Innovation Center. |
